Here’s a quick, friendly guide to getting the most from your Violet Moon spell jars. It works for Mini, Standard, and the Deluxe Ritual Set.

• Sage cleansing item (twig/pair or leaf sachet)

Ritual Steps

• Cleanse: Light the sage to smoulder (or use a pinch of loose leaf). Pass smoke over your jar and hands. Ventilate the room.
• Set: Hold the jar and say your intention clearly.
• Activate: Light the white tealight to ‘wake’ the work; let it burn in view on a heat-proof surface.
• Place: Keep the jar somewhere meaningful to your intention.
• Recharge: Refresh under moonlight or beside selenite when the energy feels low.

When you’re finished

Please do not open during use; the wax seal holds the intention. When complete, thank the jar, crack the wax, and tip contents onto paper. Return herbs/salt to soil (garden or potted plant), or wrap in paper and place in household waste. Do not put herbs down the drain. Reuse or recycle the glass; discard wax in general waste.

Is it safe to burn the tealight from the Deluxe Set? Yes — keep the wick area clear, burn on a heat-proof surface, and never leave a flame unattended.

Can I open the jar? No — keep it sealed while in use. Opening breaks the working and can spill contents.

How often should I recharge? Whenever it feels “flat”: after a stressful week, a busy period at work, or with the lunar cycle (full or new moon — your choice).

What if the wax cap cracks? It’s still fine if the cork hasn’t been removed. If you’d like to re-seal, you can soften a little wax over the top.

I don’t have sage — can I cleanse another way? Yes. Sound (bell/chime), incense, or a few sprays of Florida Water all work.

I’m sensitive to smoke. Skip smoke cleansing and use sound or a cleansing spray instead. Always ventilate if using smoke.

Is there a “right” time to start? Any time is fine. If you enjoy timing, choose a new moon (fresh starts) or full moon (clarity and release).
